Hemorrhagic Measles

Hemorrhagic measles is a rare type of measles. It is characterized by high grade fever ranging from 105 to 106 F. In addition, patient may present with seizure, delirium, and respiratory distress. This type of measles is called hemorrhagic measles since bleeding may occur in the mucus membrane and skin.
