Toenail lesions

Toenail lesions

27 y/o female c/o new lesion on her L 4th toenail that she noticed 1 week ago. Family and social hx are unremarkable. She doesn’t recall any trauma and denies hx of indoor tanning. Lesion is asymptomatic. On physical exam there is a violaceous discoloration on the nail plate, however, the pterygium skin and the cuticle are unaffected. Most likely diagnosis ? A. Melanoma B. Melanonychia Striata C. Subungual Hematoma D. Nail matrix nevus
