Isolation of HPIV Primary monkey kidney (PMK) cells of rhesus, African green monkeys and cynomologus, allow best growth of HPIV. Other cells for better growth of HPIV include LLC-MK2. For isolation of HPIV, add 2-3 mg/ml trypsin to the maintenance medium of LLC-MK2 cells. Protease plays important role in favoring the replication of primary cell cultures.
