Clinical Course of Zika Virus Infection Zika virus infection is a mild infection with asymptomatic clinical course. Around 80% of the cases are unnoticed because of no appearance of signs and symptoms. Adult patients usually present with nonspecific symptoms including light fever, conjunctivitis, skin rash, muscle or joint pain and malaise after 2-7 days of mosquito bite.
