According to clinical practice and animal clinical and research trials, radicular low back pain occurs as a result of; - Disk material leakage - Nerve root vasculature compression - Dorsal root ganglia irritation i.e. usually in spinal stenosis These conditions recruit PLA2, thromboxane A2 and Leukotriene B4. These factors contribute in inflammation and initiating lower back pain.
