Treatment of Stromal Keratitis • Evaluation of status of epithelium. • Epithelial defect in stromal disease; Administration of topical antiviral agent and cycloplegic agent until the epithelium is healed. • No epithelial defect; Administration of topical corticosteroids and topical/oral antivirals • Slowly tapering the dose to lowest possible and effective amount.
