Quick diagnosis to differentiate viral/bacterial throat infection?

Usually common cold is due to Rhino virus n which sometimes leads to throat infection. Antibiotics is given such as Azithromycin, Erythromycin, clarthromycin, Dexoclenin, Levofloxacin, Moxifloxacin... N Usually diagnosis is done by take mucus or blood or urine tests n mucus might b yellow or green if its bacterial infection n antibiotics are only given to treat bacterial infections n nt viral. Whereas streptococcus is bacteria n used as antibiotics n best medicine fr thorat infection is OTC medication is acetaminophen n non steriodal anti inflammatory drugs (NSAID's) such as advin or motrin.... So it should b diagnosed to confirm first whether its bacterial or viral n sometimes by seeing the symptoms of the patient....

I think a leucogram would be helpful in this case.

I think it’s hemogram. Because you can see leucocytes percentage.
