Polyuria and Natriuresis in PSVT

In paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (PSVT) the increase in atrial pressure leads to inhibition of release of arginine vasopressin (AVP) and stimulation of release of atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP) this results in the development of polyuria and natriuresis.
