Rasmussen’s aneurysm is a pseudo-aneurysm which develops adjacent to the tuberculous cavity secondary to inflammation and dilatation of branch of pulmonary artery. It is a potentially fatal complication of cavitary tuberculosis. Rasmussen’s aneurysm can cause massive hemoptysis.
