Adult intussusception 5% of all cases of intussusception and accounts for only 1%-5% of intestinal obstruction in adult, almost 90% of intussusception in adults are secondary to a pathologic condition as a lead point. A 42 years old man presented with abdominal distention, history of watery stool mixed with bloody mucus. Mechanic bowel obstruction was diagnosed and the patient underwent surgery. An ileo-ileal intussusception and two perforations near the ileocaecal valve was found. Resection and anastomotic ileo-colica end to end was chosen to manage the condition. The presenting symptoms of intussusception in adult are non specific, classic paediatric presentations is rare in adults. Surgical resection is recommended.
