Infraorbital nerve block is an essential tool in clinical practice to carry out dental procedures, injury repair and abscess drainage. By blocking the infraorbital nerve, the areas anesthetized include; canines, premolars, maxillary incisors, vestibular, soft tissue and osseous support, mesiovestibular root of first maxillary molar, nose and part of maxillary sinus. Any pathology or trauma in the listed regions are surgically treated by infiltrating infraorbital nerve block.
