Yes, COVID-19 PCR must be repeated in case of negative results. It is important to note that negative COVID-19 PCR does not indicate complete recovery, discharge from hospital or no contraction of infection. A false-negative PCR is a common finding which does not form a criteria for ruling out COVID-19.
