Madura foot is a chronic granulomatous infection of subcutaneous tissues of skin. This can be due to both bacterial (actinomycotic mycetoma or actinomycetomas) or fungal ( eumycetomas or mycotic mycetoma) causes. The inflammatory response to these microorganisms results in formation of tumour like masses and is most commonly the result of a localised trauma like laceration. This condition is typically common in farmers and agriculture workers who work barefoot. Picture credit: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eumycetoma
