Orbital Cellulitis

It is a bacterial infection of the soft tissues of eye behind the orbital septum. The bacteria most commonly involved is Staphylococcus aureus. Symptoms include painful swelling and bulging of eyes,fever, decreased vision and difficult eye movements. Treatment is done by antibiotics or surgery.
