The given image provides a highly simplified algorithm in planning the basic management of congestive cardiac failure. This comes in very handy especially in the pediatric population. Warm vs cold is an indication of peripheral perfusion status while wet vs dry show the presence of pulmonary congestion. Poor perfusion needs treatment with inotropes and vasodilators while diuretics are necessary in cases who develop pulmonary edema. Image via- https://emcrit.org/ibcc/chf/
