Arterial anatomy of the Lower Limb

A contrast enhanced CT scan brightens the vascular channels as contrast is injected into the blood stream. This arterial phase of a CT scan shows the arteries as brightly colored (enhanced by contrast). Note that the contrast disappears where the vessel becomes thrombosed.
