LADD SYNDROME

Lacrimoauriculodentodigital (LADD) syndrome is a multiple congenital anomaly syndrome and an autosomal dominant disorder characterized by mutations in the fibroblast growth factor 10 gene characterized by hypoplasia, aplasia or atresia of the lacrimal system; anomalies of the ears (cup shaped ears )and hearing loss ; hypoplasias, apalsias or atresias of the salivary glands; dental anomalies which includes hypodontia,microsomia, mild enamel hypoplasia and digital malformations.
