Thrombophlebitis is an inflammatory condition of vein leads to thrombosis at the site of inflammation, if not treated inflammation and thrombosis propagate to the whole vein included. Varicose veins are dilated, tortuous veins occur due to congenital venous valve absence or weakness of venous wall as primary or secondary by compression of vein proximally in case of pelvic tumor.

Varicose veins involve defective valves in the veins, creating high pressure and pain. This is blood clots, thrombi, in the vein.
