Crohn's disease: *Inflammation in the GI tract anywhere from mouth to rectum *It mainly occurs in the ileocaecal junction *This disease is mainly due to three reasons *GENETIC CAUSES *ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS *OVER REACTING IMMUNE RESPONSE *the immune cells (WBC) can spread to other areas and causes inflammation there like in the joints (arthritis), Inflammation reaction on skin (psoriasis) It may cause ulcer at GI tract ,it may be operated and resected *It maybe rectal stump TREATMENT: There's no immediate treatment But we can manage through immuno Suppressive drugs If it is genetical it should be carried throughout life
