Officials say the man fell off the bull at a rodeo. As he was on the ground the bull turned and stepped on his face resulting in a severely torn left side of his face. He was then rushed to hospital where he underwent reconstruction and is expected to make a full recovery. You can se the post-op on the second photo. Treatment of these injuries can be complex and may have significant impact on the patient's facial function and aesthetics. A thorough but focused physical exam should be performed to assess soft tissue damage and determine the initial steps in management. All wounds should be evaluated for size, depth, and status of the wound base. Isolated soft tissue wounds should be closed as soon as possible; early repair of soft tissue injuries, even in the setting of significant concomitant injuries, has been associated with improved postoperative results. .
Bull riders don't kill bulls. Most of the time the bull comes out on top, as is seen here. Bull RIDING is not the same as bull FIGHTING. Bullriders are a bit crazy, I used to rodeo and have known many bullriders over the years. There's a good chance this guy won't stop riding, most bullriders aren't real big on self preservation or they wouldn't be doing it in the first place, but rest assured that the bull comes out on top 99.9% of the time.
Oh my Lord, have never seen something like this. You've done a really good job 👍
