Can anyone suggest I formerly had flue and nasal congestion and now I have recovered from it but still suffering from ear congestion S&S No pain No fever A little loss of hearing Only one side of ear
Sounds like an ear infection. Whenever I have nasal congestion with a cold, I always get an ear infection from blowing my nose too hard into tissue. It begins with one ear and over time get worst. I had them for a couple of years. The cold and fever symptoms go away after a couple of days but the hearing loss gets worst. One time it got really bad to the point where I had to leave class and go to student health because I was completely deaf in one ear and partially in the other so I couldn’t hear lecture at all. Yawning well help drain some of the fluid but if your hearing gets worst or you begin to feel pain you should go and get prescribed some antibiotics
