Here are the before and after pictures of the previous case we have shared! The top picture is from the day it happened, the patient got into a bad car accident. He sustained multiple injuries, the tendons in his arm ripped apart and the doctors had to stitch them back together. The middle picture shows the mash skin graft taken from his thigh and being transplanted for the reconstruction and closure of the wound over time. The tiny holes, or fenestrations on the skin are made to allow the graft to be expanded to cover the large defect. The bottom one shows the current view, 2 years after the accident, the scar left is completely numb with no sensation. It took him 2 months of physical therapy to completely regain all the movement back to his fingers, which he miraculously admits it's back as if the accident has never happened!
