Also I don’t know what colleges offer the best interest for me, and med school. I want my dreams to come true but I’m already stressing on how to make them come true. You first need to enter an undergradute Medicine programme in college for 6 years to become a M.D (Medicine Doctor), then you need to become a resident for 4-6 years to become orthopedic surgeon, cardiac surgeon, plastic surgeon or whatever youre interested in by then... hope I made it clear for you :)

So let me tell you how it goes, after you get from High School, you get admitted into a med school for MBBS which is 4+1 years, then you have to apply for ms, after ms you are a general surgeon, then the final step is to apply for MCh which makes you a super speciality surgeon

I am also but a senior graduating, and what really help me was programs that my high school offered like a program called CCOC or now know as SVCTE and the medical programs there are a great foot in the door. And also check to see if you school can help you get into collage, because from my experience collage was free for online classes and that helped me knock out a few classes and gain credits... my Snapchat is BrendenIngram, if you just want someone to talk to that’s going through the same path as you.

If you’re really passionate about it don’t give up! In college when you declare your major you can pick many majors that can gear you up for med school. I’m a biology major in my second year of college, but you can also declare biochemistry, psychology, bio psychology. Any of those will work, let me know if you have any other questions!

Thank you! I really love the biology part of it, i’m just not really into psychology but I’m still figuring things out. What college do you go to?

Any of the sciences are a good start!☺😷

Either a Biomedical sciences bachelors degree or premedicine degree will work! They require all of the prerequisites for med school.

If you are from the US, search for a US college with a good four year science program. Look at retention rates, notable alum, and talk to the prehealth advisor at the college. After four years of premedicine there, you can apply for a medical school spot
