How Can This Case Be Managed?

How Can This Case Be Managed?

These images of a 4 year old girl in my home village were sent to me by her grandmother. The patient stays with her grandparents as her parents are devorced. She developed a skin rash about 4 months ago and of which progressed into painful, pruritic and exudative lesions on her scalp, back of the neck, the skin over both her cubital fossi, trunk and back of her thighs. The lesions bled and developed an inflammation on scratching. The patient has been treated frequently at the local County hospital with no improvement. She was treated with Floxacillin, Beclomin Cream, Cetiricine, Erostin and Topical Iodine but still her condition seems to deteriorate. Could someone kindly advise on the best approach to this case.

First try to clean the wound with good antiseptics regularly to avoid further infection. Apply lactocalamine lotion.. It will cure

The condition called Phemphigous vulgaris..! And no need to worry about it..! Prescription follows: 1. clean the lesions with normal saline 2. apply Oint. betametasone 3. Inj. ceftas 200mg 4. Inj. Amikacin 250mg 5. Tab. vitamin A&D (skin analouges) 6. Advice her not to wear clothes. No bathing for next 10days.!

I'm sorry for your daughter. Yes, most important thing is that she doesn't get an infection because of the lesions. Keep them clean.
