Scleromalacia perforans is a rare ocular manifestation of rheumatoid arthritis which can potentially lead to blindness and necrotizing anterior scleritis which occurs without inflammation, is asymptomatic, bilateral, and seen only in advanced rheumatoid arthritis (RA), usually in females.
