Can I ask why is it that when patients are running hyperthermia experience cold instead of hot since their temperature will be above normal? What kind of mystery is the body playing there?
The body heats up to kill the bacterias oder virus if you are sick.
For example if you have the flu, your body produces temperature through different reasons - your muscles contract to heat up the body - your metabolism changes - your skin gets less supplied with blood and then the skin gets colder Result: you are shakin and you feel cold
Okay makes sense, thanks. One more thing, is the a particular reason why the body heats up? What is the reason for muscles to contract and increase the body temperature?
