Phimosis (in translation from ancient Greek - "muzzle") - narrowing of the external opening of the foreskin of the penis, preventing the removal of the head from the preputial sac (foreskin) and the free urination act. Phimosis Diagnosis The clinical picture of phimosis predominates: an increase in the foreskin during urination, pain syndrome, violation of urination, skin irritation, local infection, itching, bleeding, urinary tract infection. All these phenomena can be expressed in varying degrees and complement each other. Phimosis treatment Conservative a) drug; b) use of corticosteroids (creams with hormonal drugs); c) manual prepuction dilatation: manual extension of the foreskin using special techniques. Surgical a) circumcision of the foreskin (various modifications); b) prepucioplasty - the formation of the foreskin.
