Motor vehicle trauma!!

This man crashed his motorcycle on the way home. Posterior tibial artery is out, foot well perfused with the AT and collaterals. Tibial nerve miraculously intact grossly although the tendons of the posterior tib, flexor digitorum longus, and flexor hallucis longus are lacerated.Injuries can result from direct blows, penetrating injuries, falls, or twisting, bending, jerking or jamming a limb in an abnormal manner. Those accidents are commonly fatal and can cause injury to the bones or the soft tissue of the feet and ankles, which can sustain a variety of injuries in falls, motor vehicle accidents and work-related accidents, such as sprains (injuries to the ligaments around the joints), strains (overstretching of the muscles that causes muscle fibers to tear), fractures, puncture wounds from sharp objects potentially leading to infections, crushing injuries and multiple dislocations.Credit @orthopaedic_trauma
