Hello everybody, a 44 year old heart patient is on T.statin 80mg , T.nicorandil 5mg , T.clipidogrel 75mg , T.aspirin 75mg and T.Metoprolo 25mg ... my question is ., he had 10.5 of hb before MI but after MI his hb went down drastically to 7.4 and after the blood transfusion it went up to 9.4 but soon after 4 weeks again hb went low to 7... will it be any other problem associated with MI ?!

It could be due to the dual antiplatelet therapy, got to check for any bleeding.

No bleed elsewhere!!!! I guess it’s because of the tablets as u said!!!! Other than that is there anything specific?!

Immediately after 3 weeks!!!

So after 3 weeks means it is somewhat acute. Check for any signs of vasculitis. Specially check for GI bleeding. MI could have happen due to the vasculitis condition. Who knows 💁🏻‍♂️ Dual antiplatelet therapy must be kicking in and bleeding.
