

This video presents Minimal Manipulation Myoconjunctival Enucleation for Retinoblastoma in 4 year old child. Enucleation is still the treatment of choice for high-risk group E retinoblastoma. The technique of enucleation is important - specifically minimal manipulation and harvesting a long optic nerve stump. While the surgery is life-saving, providing optimal static and dynamic cosmesis is important to socially rehabilitate the child. Use of myoconjunctival technique with a primary implant helps optimize cosmesis.
