Removal of buccal exostosis. (A) Gross irregularities of the buccal aspect of the alveolar ridge. After tooth removal, incision is completed over the crest of the alveolar ridge. (Vertical-releasing incision in the cuspid area is demonstrated.) (B) Exposure and removal of buccal exostosis with a rongeur. (C) Soft tissue closure using a continuous suture technique.
