This is a case of a patient that had his wrist nerve cut and the mass labeled with the green arrows developed. This is called a neuroma and can cause pain and does not conduct proper sensory and/or motor signals. This patient's neuroma was cut out and the nerve had to be reconstructed. There are many philosophies of nerve reconstruction, but I prefer this method. Here, a sural nerve from the leg was taken and 4 nerve cables were attached using microsurgical technique.
