Just finished my first week of classes at my DO school and I absolutely love it. The history of osteopathic medicine is super interesting -Dr. Still was an MD and he founded osteopathic medicine because he knew the field could be improved. At a DO school, you learn everything an MD curriculum has to offer but you also get training in OMT, which is fascinating in my opinion.

I am a current DO student and it is definitely fascinating to learn all the OMT and actually start to treat people with them. The course work is intense and you are responsible for more than knowledge but actual practice. Be ready for the long and fulfilling journey.
