Clinically it is the MOST important SINUS in the human body. Located within the middle cranial fossa next to the sella turcica (where pituitary gland sits) on either side. Traveling through the Cavernous Sinus: *Abducens Nerve Cranial Nerve 6 *Internal Carotid artery In the lateral walls of the Cavernous Sinus: *Oculomotor nerve Cranial Nerve 3 *Trochlear Nerve Cranial Nerve 4 *Ophthalmic V1 & Maxillary V2 branches of Cranial Nerve 5 Trigeminal Nerve.
