Hey ! I'm a french 17 girl and I want to do medschool after high school because it's so interesting ! Do you have any advices to improve my chances of succeeding or books, etc ....?
Iβm Italian and Iβm in med school in the UK right now. We do the same thing, after high school straight to med school. I suggest you focus more on SVTs but also do well in your bac (I lived in France 1 year so I know about your school system). If you do well overall, itβll make you more complete. You will do all the biology, chemistry and physics needed in the first year of med school, so you should develop some interest in science but not go too deep, in my opinion. Bonne chance!
Drink a lot of water and get enough sleep! Eating and drinking will help your mind stay sharp even if you donβt feel like you have time.
Im 17 too and im starting being a medical assistant in the Army Reserves which is equal to an EMT or Nurse. They will be looking at, at least your last 6 science cources and marks. You need at least a second level biology and chemistry
Well after highschool you need 4 years undergraduate at a college doing Pre Med before Med school
Be a good student in high school, do your best and develop a good study method... the rest will come naturally as you start med school
Read human physiology and anatomy basics. Be regular with your study sessions and practice drawing a lot of diagrams related to human anatomy
It is possible in France but im french too. Theres not much of a difference for it
