Deep fascial space infection

(A) Patient with multiple comminuted mandible fractures resulting in an acute and then severely chronic deep fascial space infection. The patient underwent incision and drainage of all affected spaces (B–D), resolution of the source of infection (reduction of mandible fractures using an external fixator (E), with good postoperative recovery.
