Removal of mandibular tori

. (A) After block, local anesthetic is administered; ballooning of thin mucoperiosteum over the area of the tori can be accomplished by placing the bevel of a local anesthetic needle against the torus and injecting local anesthetic subperiosteally. (This greatly facilitates reflection of the mucoperiosteal flap.) (B) Outline of crestal incision. (C) Exposure of torus. Removal of mandibular tori.
