Fibroplastic stage of wound healing
Late phase of fibroplastic stage of bone repair. Osteoclasts resorb necrotic bone. In areas of sufficient oxygen tension, osteoblasts lay down new bone; in areas of low oxygen tension, chondroblasts lay down cartilage.
