Microscopic changes in kidney in hypertension

Malignant nephrosclerosis. The vascular changes are necrotising arteriolitis and hyperplastic intimal sclerosis or onion-skin proliferation. The parenchymal changes are tubular loss, fine interstitial fibrosis and foci of infarction necrosis.
