Diabetic glomerulosclerosis
Diffuse lesions. The characteristic features are dif fuse involvement of the glomeruli showing thickening of the GBM and diffuse increase in the mesangial matrix with mild proliferation of mesangial cells and exudative lesions (fibrin caps and capsular drops).
