Left Sided Atrial Myxoma

Atrial myxoma is benign tumour of the heart that can eventually lead to obstruction. It is the most common primary heart tumour and can be difficult to diagnose due to the non specific symptoms. The patient may have a number of symptoms including shortness of breath, dizziness, palpitations, chest pain and fainting. It is most commonly found on the left side .
