Traumatic granuloma

Traumatic granuloma of the oral mucosa is a chronic but self-limiting, reactive lesion of oral mucous membranes This crateriform ulcer may measure 1 to 2 cm in diameter. It is usually found in the tongue with an associated inflammatory infiltrate rich in eosinophils, histiocytes, and myofibroblasts.
