Sinus Bradycardia

Sinus Bradycardia

It refers to the heart rate of less than 60 beats per minute. It is called sinus because each P-wave is followed by a QRS complex. Causes are: MI, Raised ICP, hypothermia, hypothyroidism, hypoxia, Drugs. If a patient is symptomatic the best initial therapy is atropine and most effective therapy is pacemaker.
