AV malformation, one of our pets in our family practice had this. This is my dx, how did I do?
@Fateme Kourki I wouldn't really do much honestly. If you have multiple haemorrhages, you can try to surgically remove one of these malformations. And send the tissue to the pathologist. Cavernomas often also include blood vessels without real differentiation to an artery or vein. If not possible, I would treat the patient conservative. If he has seizures I'd also add anticolvulsants. There are also some genetic mutations in hereditary cavernomatosis. In genes CCM1,2,3.
Can you explain this disease? Thanks for your comment try other things.
Nope, but good DDX. thanks for your comment try other things
Try write DDX not the exact diagnosis and explain why it is true for this case. Good job Drs and to be Drs.
Multiple cerebrale cavernomatosis are multiple haemangiomas, that contain AVMs in the brain. They can lead to haemorrhage stroke (with different symptoms like paraplegia or amaurosis fugax, etc.).
Celebrales AVM kann zu einem Schalganfall führen, es können aber uch durch Nervenläsionen Lähmungserscheinungen im Gesicht erscheinen
