Just wondering. ..is the low level we emit visible to to insects or other animals?
Actually, this discovery was made by using super sensitive cameras in 2009... this emitted light is not due to heat but it is the side effect of metabolic reactions with in all the creatures, The result of highly reactive free radicals produced through cellular respiration interacting with free floating lipids and proteins...the excited molecules that result can react with chemicals like flurophores to emit photons...the level we emit is 1000 times weaker than our eyes to detect ,then other animals & different species of insects will certainly couldn't see us.(because of emission of very weak light)!!!
