In this video, the blood supply of the brain and the brainstem are reviewed. The vasculature of the neck as well as the anatomy of the circle of Willis are explained. Various imaging modalities such as magnetic resonance namonin angiogram, digital subtraction angiogram, doppler ultrasound, and computed tomography angiogram are elucidated with emphasis on the advantages, disadvantages, and indications. Vascular territories of brain and brainstem are established and clinical correlation is given for each area focusing on the manifestations of obstruction / infarction of the supplying artery. 0:38 Self assessment case presentation 01:58 Vasculature of neck 2:38 Circle of Willis 4:06 Circle of Willis on angiogram 5:24 Neck vasculature on angiogram 7:37 Imaging modalities for vasculature 7:43 MRI angiogram 8:06 CTA 8:28 Digital subtraction angiogram 8:46 Doppler ultrasound 9:13 Vascular territories of brain 9:21 Anterior cerebral artery 10:07 Middle cerebral artery 12:12 Posterior cerebral artery 14:25 Superior cerebellar artery 14:43 Basilar artery 16:53 Anterior inferior cerebellar artery 18:17 Posterior inferior cerebellar artery 19:43 Review
