PSORIASIS VULGARIS

PSORIASIS VULGARIS Chronic inflammation disease of the skin with a genetic and autoimmune condition. Typically located: skin, articulations and nails. Epidemiology: different ages mostly <50 yrs. Factors that can trigger: obesity, infections, traumas, psychological factors, pregnancy, medications, diet, hypocalcemia, immunological factors. Appearance: plaque psoriasis or other types such as guttate psoriasis, palmoplantar psoriasis, erythrodermic psoriasis. Treatment: Topicals corticosteroids, nonsteroidal treatments, calcineurin inhibitor. Systemics: acitretin Phototherapy
