As a freshman in high school (14 years old), what should I be doing to get into a good college for undergrad and in turn getting me into a good med school? Also, what are the best things to major in during undergrad to prepare me for med school or giving me a leg up on the curriculum? I want to go to the University of Chapel Hill for undergrad and the University of Duke for med school. What are your thoughts and opinions on that? I am in the exact same situation although I still cannot decide what to major in for college. I want to become a trauma surgeon and I want to save lives but I don’t know where to start. I hope it helps you to know that your not the only one with questions as a freshman in high school. Everyone says to enjoy the relaxing and “easy” days but that is so hard to do when no one will answer any questions. Hope this is relatable and helpful for you. Your not alone.
