Case by @dr.bengi This is a unique case of a 2 months old baby that was brought by his parents for a quickly progressive exophtalmos. The clinical status and the CT scan realized didnt fit any of the common diagnosis of ocular tumors. The team had to get the results of a stereotaxic biopsy to conclude it was an atypic teratoid rhabdoid tumor (these tumors are extremely rare and occur in 1 person in every 2 millions). They develop in the nervous system and in this case, the extension was important and the tumor envaded the right orbit through the optic canal causing exophtalmos of the right eye. The prognosis of these tumors is not well known since they are very rare. But this case seems to evolve well after the baby went through surgery and started chemo sessions. @medicalcortex
