Symptoms of biceps tendon tear are severe pain at elbow or upper part of arm near shoulder depending on the site of tendon tear, bruise, weakness, inability to rotate palm up and down, and Popeye muscle. All symptoms appear at the site of injury which maybe shoulder or elbow. Popeye muscle refers to change in the contour of the front of bicep in the anterior compartment of upper arm.
